The conference was organized with the support of EAGT and was held from September 13 to 15 2024. It was a professional event with 70 participants.
The conference was focused on connection between gestalt therapy and the socio-political context. We designed an interesting program for those who are interested in becoming more active in protecting and restoring human rights and democratic values in our societies.
We invited different speakers from social and political fields to talk, discuss and look at different topics: at Ethical Dilemmas in Field Work, at Field Work as Psychotherapists, at Dehumanization, at Connection of Human Rights and Climate Change Issues.
Keynote speakers of the conference were well-known gestalt therapists Antonia Konstantinidou (Greece), Dieter Bongers (Switzerland) and Nurith Levi (Israel), Nick Thorpe, journalist and BBC correspondent living in Budapest, Tomaž Flajs, chair of HR&SR committee (Slovenia), and members of the Working Group for Climate Change and Biodiversity at the EAGT Hanna Alen and Helena Mering.
Below we provide a video recording of the keynote lectures. Unfortunately some of the recordings have issues with sound quality and audibility therefore they will not be uploaded.
